long absence

yes its been a while...

Hallo to all my subscibers,

I hope there are still a few of you around:)

I have been gone for a year and then some, my apologies!

I have had a lot going on in my life and i just needed to deal.

I am going to do my best to post again from a very REAL perspective,i have just recently discovered that the genre that my poetry belongs to is called confesionalism poetry ”characterized by intensely personal, self-revealing verse that explores taboo subjects like mental illness, sexuality, and trauma” well, most of it anyway.

now that i have a label to my Inner Voices… here is one of the newest…

~~~ At Last ~~~

My weary soul is shattered

by the Heartache of years

my conscience lies in peril

from the decision made in tears.

My character beaten and molded

on the bitter anvil of life,

my thoughts consumed by memories

of past mistakes and strife.

My future clouded by fear

my past shrouded in regret,

the way ahead uncertain

by the path i cant forget.

Although i have misgivings

my resolve is strong and fast,

through the crucible i have been tempered

i am who i am, at last!
